Protocol Recordings X ADE review
On Wednesday 19th October, Protocol Recordings took over Melkweg in Amsterdam for their annual ADE event. Featuring some of the biggest talents dance music has to offer, the event was certainly one of the highlights of the ADE calendar.
Amsterdam Dance Event is an annual music conference which involves events being held across the city over 5 days. As well as live events, there are also plenty of informative talks about the industry.
During the event there were two stages, the main area which was home to the Protocol stage, and the Worldwide Area. The night was kicked off by Tom Tyger, followed by sets from Blinders, Stadiumx and Florian Picasso. Each set built up the energy in the venue, with an electric atmosphere.
The highlight of the night was a 2 hour set from label boss Nicky Romero who was joined by an array of special guests. Opening his set with Novell, Nicky certainly started with a bang. Soon enough the crowd were singing along passionately to the iconic vocals of some of his biggest hits.
During the set, Nicky Romero was joined on stage by Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, who were met with cheers from the crowd. With Plenty of co2 and confetti this show was unforgettable.
The epic 2 hour set from Nicky Romero and friends was broadcast worldwide uniting fans of Protocol Recordings from across the globe to witness the incredible show.
